If the system is designed for AGM then AGM should be the replacement (like the Mini). And AGM has lower internal resistance, meaning more cranking power. For a diesel that sounds great. So maybe I wouldn't be happier with flooded cell for chassis batteries. My 2c, and probably not even worth that.Some people recommend running the generator for a while to charge them and/or isolating the batteries after ~1/2 or charging and then turn it back on after the alternator cools for a while. Some also isolate if you are running the generator to run AC's as it may cause the alternator light to come on.The Aladdin reset switch which is just a break switch when activated and is the main power supply controller to the Aladdin ECM (behind dash) is in the overhead above the driver seat.
